What if...
Our next milestone: Sunday, June 5
It was one year ago that we embarked on a faith-building, soul-stretching adventure as a church, asking, 'What if...we follow God into his future for us? What if we step out in faith like never before?'
Last December we experienced the first benefit of our step of faith, as we gathered enough for a down payment on the Grove and made it ours!
On Sunday, June 5, we'll have a 'Celebration Sunday,' a tangible opportunity to step out again. Those of us who made commitments a year ago will renew our commitments. If you have not been part of our 'What If' journey, we invite you to join us by making a commitment with us!
Here's how: Between now and June 5, pray about how you should participate. Ask God how much he would like to give through you over the next two years. Then, in faith, commit that amount on June 5! And, yes, we will once again have a chocolate fountain to help us celebrate :)
Sunday, June 12 will be 'First Fruits' Sunday, when we bring our 'best gifts' to kick off our second 'What If' year.

It was one year ago that we embarked on a faith-building, soul-stretching adventure as a church, asking, 'What if...we follow God into his future for us? What if we step out in faith like never before?'
Through that process, we decided to purchase the Grove. We prayed hard and sought God's leadership as to how each of us might participate. Then we took a flying leap together, trusting God to provide resources through us beyond our normal means to accomplish the vision.
This month we're revisiting 'What If,' taking time to renew God's dream for our church and re-commit ourselves and our resources to the future He has for us.
Over the next couple weeks, we would like to meet with you to share, pray and dream together. If you're in a regular Connection Group, Kendal will be joining you soon. If you're not, please sign up here for a 'one-time' home group gathering, to be held on Thurs, May 19 and Sun, May 22.

WE ARE NOW OFFICIALLY FLORIDA CITRUS GROWERS!!!
Woo-hoo! We closed on the Grove Friday morning, Dec. 17th :) Look for our 'future home of...' sign soon.
Next steps include creating a site development plan, improving the road (so we stop getting stuck in the sugar sand) and building a fire pit for our Christmas Eve service.
Long-term, together we have committed to giving $475,000 over the next three years to completely pay off the property. As of this week, we're at 22%! Let's keep praying that God will provide the resources we need and lead us into his future for us.

Now that we own the land, next steps include improving the entrance road (so we stop getting stuck in the sugar sand), installing a port-a-potty (!) and creating a long-range site development plan.
Of course, we will continue to give generously together toward the $475,000 we've committed over the next three years to pay off the property. As of this week, we're at 23% of our goal. The next milestone is to reach 40% by July 1.
To be honest, at the current rate of giving, this will be a challenge! Let's not forget that this is a faith-stretcher for all of us, and that only as God unleashes his power will we be successful. That means 1) we need to keep praying hard and 2) we need to courageously and confidently give what we believe God led us to commit :)

CHECK OUT our 1st SUNDAY @ the GROVE! What a great time we had worshiping under the big tent, reflecting on God's goodness and dreaming about where He's taking us next! Plus, all sorts of yummy food. It just doesn't get any better :) Can't wait for the next one...
