The Crossing Church

We start a new series called 'SHINE!'  It's about how God has placed us where we are -- in our neighborhood, at our workplace, in this community -- for a reason:  to shine his light in such a way that those around us experience the life Jesus came to bring. 

During this series, we'll learn how to build redemptive relationships, share God's story, tell our own faith story, and answer common questions about faith. At the same time, we'll be identifying people whom God may be calling us to reach, then begin praying for them, both on Sunday mornings and in our Connection Groups.

The climax will come in November, as we make it our goal to invite 100 friends to the Crossing during our One Month to Live series! Sound audacious? It is something that can only happen if the Holy Spirit does it. But here's the thing: it's something He wants to do, and so we're going to ask Him to do it :)

I believe this could be another defining moment in our life as a church, and that God will use us to bring new people to faith in Christ! I'm pretty pumped, and I invite you to engage fully, 'cause you'll want to be part of it.
