The Crossing Church

Thanks….for considering membership at the Crossing!  Check back for important information on the membership class. 

 We believe membership is important for two reasons:

1.  It changes our relationship.  Scripture teaches that following Jesus is not a solo gig.  The spiritual journey was meant to be traveled with others.  In becoming a member, you are saying, “this is the faith community I believe God has called me to be a part of!  These are the people I’ll work alongside of!  This is the place I’ll invest my gifts, my talents, my finances, my time!  I’m here because God has placed me here!  And I’m excited about where he is taking us together!”  Membership is a way to ‘plant your flag’ and engage.

2.  It tells us who’s on the team.  It is very important for our leaders to know whom to gather when critical decisions need to be made, when prayer partners are needed, when we're seeking God's voice.  The Crossing is a growing Body made up of many parts.  It makes all the difference in the world to know how many parts there are, and how those parts operate!
