The Crossing Church

Dear Crossing family and friends,

One of my favorite stops in Israel was Banias Falls. Never heard of it? That's because it isn't a biblical site.

Well, it is a biblical site, because it was only a few miles from a place Jesus visited, and he must have 

brought his disciples to this raging waterfall to have a look! But it's not mentioned in scripture anywhere.

Anyway, as we stood there in the spray, drinking in the
beauty of the place, I was thinking, God is so lavish. He's over the top. Everywhere you go, whether Israel or Clermont or somewhere in between, you find his breath-taking creations.

At the core, God is a generous person who looks for ways to share what he has with us. Our focus this Sunday is on following God's heart by JUMPing toward generosity. What would it look like for you to be a more generous person? What would it look like for the Crossing to be a more generous church? What would it take for us to take some serious steps in that direction?
