We're building! In January 2015, we made the final payment on our 18-acre grapefruit grove (15420 Old Hwy 50 West, Clermont), which we call simply 'The Grove.' In addition to being a 1000-tree working grapefruit grove, it also holds pastureland bordering a beautiful small lake!
Since the day we bought it, we have been dreaming, scheming, praying and preparing to build our new home. We are currently working up blueprints and hope to break ground this fall. Our goal is to be in our new facility by late 2017!
Our vision for the Grove is that it will be both
SACRED SPACE and COMMUNITY PLACE.
Sacred Space is about connecting with God.
We will create a space where people can, as Psalm 46:10 puts it, 'Be still and know that I am God.'
Community Place means that we dream
of The Grove as a spot where people gather throughout the week to pray, play, eat, or grab a cup of coffee together. As these two focal points converge, it is our prayer that The Grove will play a significant role in serving our community while leading people toward hope and life in Jesus Christ.
