1. Ice Breaker. If you had to choose one Easter candy to represent your spiritual life this week… which would it be and why? (e.g., Peeps: full of sugar but waiting for the inevitable crash, Jellybeans: colorful but all over the place, Chocolate bunny: sweet on the outside, but a little hollow on the inside, make up your own…)”
2. Palm Sunday (Day 6) Read John 12:12-15

What would it look like for Jesus to truly be King of every area of your life?
3. Monday – The Temple (Day 5) Read Mark 11:15-19

“What’s in your bag?”
We’ve all been given gifts, resources, time, and opportunities.
What are you doing with what God’s given you? How are you investing your life in something that lasts? Where are you hiding away or wasting what you’ve been given?
5. Wednesday – Solitude (Day 3)
“When was the last time you were silent with God?”
Jesus had a rhythm in his life of intentionally taking time to be quiet with the Father.
How could regular solitude change your relationship with God? Will you commit to 30 minutes of silence this week? If you have already done it, what did you experience?
6. Thursday – The Towel (Day 2) Read John 13:1-5
“Who’s the person you least feel like serving?”
Jesus, knowing He had all the power, chose to wash feet.
How does your attitude toward service reflect the heart of Jesus? What is one way you can better serve your spouse? Kids? Church? Friends? Community? We encourage you to sign up to serve at thecrossingchurch.org is you aren’t already serving your church family.
7. Friday – The Cross Read John 19:16-18 & 19:28-30
“What does ‘It is finished’ mean?”
Jesus willingly endured the cross. How does His sacrifice shape how you live your life now? Is there anything you need to surrender or confess?
8. Living the Week
“Which of the 6 objects (leaf, penny, calendar, bag, cloth, nail) most challenged or spoke to you?”
Why do you think that is? What next step can you take in response?
9. Forgiveness & Healing
1 Peter says, “By His wounds you are healed.” Read 1 Peter 2:24-25
In what area of your life do you need healing? Do you believe Jesus can meet you there? Why or why not?
10. Return to the Shepherd
Peter says we were like wandering sheep, but now we’ve returned to our Shepherd.
What does “returning to Jesus” look like for you right now? Are there areas where you’ve wandered?
11. Preparing for Easter
“Are you coming next Sunday with a heart ready to celebrate the resurrection?”
What do you need to do between now and then to prepare—mentally, spiritually, emotionally?
