The End… According to Jesus
Series: The End...
There is a wide-spread belief that one day life as we know it will come to an end. We don't know how, but we're pretty sure it'll happen.
As it turns out, according to scripture that’s true! You can find this truth throughout the Bible, but the most well-known is the last book in the New Testament—Revelation.
This Sunday we begin a study of Revelation called 'THE END'. We’ll spend next few months doing a deep-dive into this mysterious, enigmatic, often-misunderstood, and usually misapplied book. As we do, we invite you to lean in and engage. Because we'll discover that it has a whole lot to say to us right here, right now!

Easter – Did Jesus Really Rise?
    Series: Easter
In 2020, Lifeway Research asked American adults if they agreed or disagreed with this statement: 'Biblical acccounts of the physical, bodily resurrection of Jesus are completely accurate.' An astonishing 66% of them agreed! Another 14% weren't sure. Only 20% said they disagree. So two out of three Americans adults believe Jesus rose from dead, but many of them don’t even go to church?! What's up with that?

I wonder if maybe the problem is that we don’t really understand why it matters that Jesus rose from dead. Right here, right now, what difference does Jesus' resurrection make? So, since it is Easter Sunday, let's talk about that! See you at the Grove :)

    Hyperlinks: Jesus, the Substitute
    Series: Hyperlinks
In our final week of the Hyperlinks series, we look at an astonishing truth found in Isaiah 53: Jesus died in our place, bearing the full weight of our burdens and worry and guilt, lifting it off of us and taking it away from us. And oh, how we need him to do that!

    Hyperlinks: Man of Sorrow
    Series: Hyperlinks
This week's hyperlink takes us to Isaiah 53, one of scripture's most fascinating passages. If you didn't know where it was found, you would assume it was a New Testament account of Jesus' crucifixion. But it was actually written 700 years before Jesus was born!
Oh--it also compares us to wandering sheep. Come find out how!

    Hyperlinks: Blurry Vision
    Series: Hyperlinks
Humanity was created with a purpose, but before we could be fully trained for the job ahead, we dropped out, and went about things our own way. Because of this, our definition of good doesn't quite match up with God's Today we explore how this theme repeats itself throughout scripture, and whether there's any hope for us at all!

    Hyperlinks: The Triumphal Entry
    Series: Hyperlinks
Throughout the New Testament, Jesus is the star of the show. But, did you know that Jesus is also the star of the Old Testament? This week, we start a new series called "Hyperlinks," in which we will examine just a few of these instances of Jesus in the Old Testament. You may be surprised by how much the Old Testament has to say about the person God was going to send to restore humanity and bring peace, hope, and unity to the world.

    The Journey Home: Celebrate
As we finish our Journey Home series, we find that in 52 days, Nehemiah and his team have accomplished what no one thought they could do--rebuilt the walls of the holy city of Jerusalem! There’s no doubt this has been done by power and presence God among them.
So how do you celebrate a wall? (Hint: there's a band and a parade!) And while we're asking, how do we celebrate God’s work in our lives and in our church? Let's explore it together!

The Journey Home: Fasting and Prayer
As we continue "The Journey Home," we are going to take a look back at the beginning of Nehemiah's memoir. His initial reaction to learning about the situation in Jerusalem has an important spiritual teaching for us as faithful followers of Jesus. Why did he stop eating? That is a GREAT question!

    The Journey Home: REACH
In this week's installment of 'The Journey,' Nehemiah brings the wall-building project to a screeching halt to deal with something even more important. It's a great reminder for us not to get so caught up in the details of doing 'God's work' that we miss the needs he places right in front of us!

The Journey Home: How God Uses the Team
This week we are continuing our series called “The Journey Home,” in which we are taking time to use the lens of Nehemiah’s story to examine our spiritual lives as well as many of the practical needs of the church itself. At this point in the story, the wall is done. Hooray! But rather than the end of the story, that was really just the beginning of what God was doing with Nehemiah and the Israelites. How did God use the results of their labors building the wall?
